They’re designed to protect his paws from surfaces that are exposed to hours of the scorching sun, like sidewalks, concrete, asphalt, streets, boats, docks and sand. Two fuzzy fastener straps with slides fasten the boot in place and help to guard against slip off during activities. Plus, generous foam at the closure creates a secure grip and cushion for his paw.
